Gaviscon Advance Liquid Peppermint (Gsl) 300Ml

Gaviscon Advance Liquid Peppermint Extra Strength contains 1000mg Sodium Alginate & 200mg Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate per 10ml to provide effective, long-lasting (up to 4 hours) relief from acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion. Gaviscon Advance Liquid works by forming a protective layer on top of the stomach contents that prevents reflux and keep it away from the lining of the food pipe thereby relieving heartburn and acid indigestion. Gaviscon Advance can also be used to relieve symptoms associated with hiatus hernia (protrusion of muscle through a muscle wall), reflux oesophagitis (inflamed food pipe) and symptoms of hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throat and cough associated with reflux.

Directions for Use: Please carefully peel open label and read before use.
-Suitable for adults, elderly and children 12 years and older.
-Shake well before use. Take 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
-If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor.

Cautions: Only give to children under 12 years old on medical advice.
-Do not take if you know you are allergic/hypersensitive to any of the listed ingredients.
-Suitable for use during pregnant or breastfeeding. As with all medication duration should be limited as much as possible.
-Contains sodium (5.0 mmol/10ml), potassium (2.0 mmol/10ml) & calcium; consult your doctor before use if you have advised to follow a restricted diet involving any of these.
-Maximum daily dose contains 424mg sodium; equivalent to 21% of the adults recommended maximum daily intake.
-Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you need four or more daily doses for an extended period; especially if you have been advised to follow a low sodium diet or suffer/suffered from significant kidney or heart disease.
-Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if taking/may take any other medications including OTC medicines.
-Contains methyl (E218) & propyl (E216) para-hydroxybezoates which may cause allergic reactions.
-Keep out of sight and reach of children.
-Do not refrigerate.

Ingredients: Each 10 ml of oral suspension contains 1000 mg sodium alginate and 200 mg potassium hydrogen carbonate as the active ingredients. The other ingredients are calcium carbonate, carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, peppermint flavour and purified water.
