Nicorette Invisi Patches are a treatment that is intended for those who are looking to quit smoking. They work by giving the body nicotine that it craves. This is known as Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). NRT works by replacing the nicotine from a cigarette with a safer form. It is also intended to work as the amount of nicotine is reduced over time with the treatment. Besides being a form of NRT, these patches can be used as a substitute for a cigarette when it is not possible to use one.
What is the cause of nicotine addiction: Nicotine addiction is caused by smoking cigarettes over a period of time. When smoking a cigarette, the tobacco is inhaled into the lungs. From there, the nicotine in the tobacco gets to the brain. This causes the brain to release a neurotransmitter which changes the mood. This neurotransmitter is dopamine, which when released, improves the mood and gives off the feeling of pleasure. Over time, the body will want more dopamine so it causes cravings for nicotine, the trigger for dopamine. Cravings can be triggered by actions and routines and knowing what these are can help when it comes to quitting smoking.
