As a Pharmacy Assistant you will work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. You will help advise patients and refer to the Pharmacist where necessary, dispense medication and order stock. You will be required to complete qualifications that will help give you the knowledge to advise patients and understand how to dispense safely and in accordance with GPhC regulations.

As a Pharmacy Technician you will work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role covers all areas of pharmacy practice from ordering, dispensing and final check of prescriptions; to providing advice and support on treatment options. Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in engaging with patients and supporting safe and effective use of medicines.
You will be required to be registered with the GPhC to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
We also offer a management role where you can become a Regional Support Manager who looks after a group of Pharmacies and supports the Pharmacist in Compliance, Services and Management and can be accessed at any level. If you show the necessary traits required for the role, then you can attend our Selection Centre which takes place twice a year.
Delivery drivers provide a vital service to those who are unable to visit the pharmacy, and it is important that customers receive the same information regarding their medicines as they would have done in the pharmacy. You will be required to complete a Delivery Driver course which covers in-depth knowledge in customer service, teamwork, health & safety, and effective delivery of medicines to patients.
