Pharmacy First Service

From the 31st of January 2024, your local Day Lewis pharmacist can treat you for seven common conditions without you needing to visit your GP. Under the NHS Pharmacy First Service you can be treated for urine infection, sinusitis, ear infection, impetigo, sore throat, shingles, and infected insect bite. Our highly qualified pharmacists can provide over the counter or prescription treatment for these conditions. Suffering from a minor illness? There's no need to go to your GP. Our team of experienced staff can treat you and offer advice on any healthy living queries you may have. We can also give you an emergency supply of your prescribed medication if you run out unexpectedly. All this and more is included as part of our Community Pharmacist Consultation Service.Our disease prevention services include a variety of health checks, such as our free blood pressure test.
