Your prescription requests

At Day Lewis, we understand how important it is for you to have access to the medication you need, when you need it. Our electronic repeat dispensing service makes it easy for you to keep track of your medications and reorder items when you're running low. We can also take care of acute prescription requests from your GP. If you have recently started using a new medication, we can review your prescription to make sure you feel confident taking them. This could be if you've been prescribed a new medicine to treat a longterm condition or following hospital discharge. We can also safely dispose of unwanted or unused medicines on your behalf.

Pharmacy First Service

From the 31st of January 2024, your local Day Lewis pharmacist can treat you for seven common conditions without you needing to visit your GP. Under the NHS Pharmacy First Service you can be treated for urine infection, sinusitis, ear infection, impetigo, sore throat, shingles, and infected insect bite. Our highly qualified pharmacists can provide over the counter or prescription treatment for these conditions.
