Prescription medicine services

We offer a range of prescription medicine services. We provide prescription collection, electronic repeat dispensing and support with new medicines. We can also help you to get to grips with any new medicines you're prescribed on discharge from the hospital. In addition, you can drop off any medications you have that are unwanted or expired and we will dispose of them safely for you.

Pharmacy First Service

From the 31st of January 2024, your local Day Lewis pharmacist can treat you for seven common conditions without you needing to visit your GP. Under the NHS Pharmacy First Service you can be treated for urine infection, sinusitis, ear infection, impetigo, sore throat, shingles, and infected insect bite. Our highly qualified pharmacists can provide over the counter or prescription treatment for these conditions.
