Your prescriptions and medication

At our Day Lewis Pharmacy in Newquay, we can help manage your prescription, ensuring you have the medication you need, when you need it. Our team are able to fulfil single prescription requests from your GP, in addition to setting up repeat dispensing for medicines you may take on a regular basis. A member of our team can also review your prescription to ensure you feel confident taking your medication. This may be especially useful following hospital discharge or if you are treating a longterm condition.

Pharmacy First Service

From the 31st of January 2024, your local Day Lewis pharmacist can treat you for seven common conditions without you needing to visit your GP. Under the NHS Pharmacy First Service you can be treated for urine infection, sinusitis, ear infection, impetigo, sore throat, shingles, and infected insect bite. Our highly qualified pharmacists can provide over the counter or prescription treatment for these conditions.
